Collector lore

They tried to contain it.

They wrapped his eyes so he would not see what was taken from him. They drove the crown of spikes into cloth and flesh to remind him who held power. They bound his arms in leather and wire, convinced restraint would dull what burned beneath his skin.

They were wrong.

Rage does not need sight. It does not need freedom. It feeds on confinement. Every insult, every betrayal, every quiet injustice pressed into him like another thorn. And the pressure built. And built.
