About this work
Xerella Monex is a battle-scarred survivor caught somewhere between woman and machine, her remaining flesh fused with a massive framework of weathered steel, hydraulics, cables, and glowing mechanical systems.
Collector lore
Xerella Monex is a vision of survival taken far beyond the limits of the human body.
What remains of the woman she once was is surrounded by an immense network of battered machinery—heavy armor plating, exposed cables, hydraulic components, mechanical joints, and industrial systems glowing with a deep amber heat. Nothing about her construction feels new, polished, or elegant. Her body looks repaired rather than manufactured, carrying years of damage across both flesh and steel.
That distinction was important to the piece.
Xerella isn't meant to feel like a pristine futuristic android. She is still visibly human beneath the machinery. Scarred skin, an exposed face, and organic anatomy remain trapped within a mechanical structure powerful enough to protect her while slowly becoming inseparable from her.
Her oversized mechanical arm dominates the composition, giving the character a tremendous sense of weight and physical power. Scratched surfaces, damaged plating, exposed mechanisms, and small points of warm illumination suggest a machine that has survived countless repairs and continued operating long after it should have failed.
There is still a woman inside all that metal.
How much of her remains is another question entirely.
