Context & narrative
How this work reads within the collection — statement first, extended lore when present.
About this work
A fractured being bound in iron and silence.
Once whole, now shattered and reforged, the figure bows beneath the weight of memory and restraint. Metal bands hold the broken skull together as if containing something that must never be released. In the darkness, the vessel remains — empty, restrained, and waiting.
Collector lore
Long ago, this body was chosen to contain something ancient — a force too volatile to exist freely in the world. Ritualists shattered the host and sealed the fragments with iron to keep the power dormant.
But vessels are not meant to last forever.
Cracks spread. The bindings tighten.
And deep inside the broken shell, something still breathes.
