The mountain gives no warning.
Cold Snap captures the split second when a massive frost giant tears through solid rock and ice, exploding from the mountainside in a storm of shattered stone and snow. His enormous arms brace against the broken mountain as he drives forward, white hair whipping through the frozen air and his eyes locked on whatever unfortunate soul stands in his path.
The extreme perspective puts the viewer directly in the attack. Massive hands, shoulders and fractured rock surround the giant's face while the distant peaks and approaching storm disappear behind him.
There is no heroic standoff and no time to prepare.
One second the mountain is still.
The next — Cold Snap.
